How we test and compare AI tools

How Stacknota checks prices, dates every check, computes its scores on a public grid and discloses affiliate links.

Prices are read on the vendor’s own page

Every price shown comes from the tool’s official pricing page, checked on the date printed on its sheet. When a figure is not published or could not be read, we mark it “not verified” instead of guessing.

A score out of 5, from a public grid

Every tool is scored out of 5 on five criteria, then given a weighted overall score: price (25%), free plan and trial (15%), ease of use (20%), features (25%), data and GDPR (15%). Each criterion score is explained on the tool’s sheet.

Price, free plan and data come from information checked on the vendors’ sites. Ease of use and features are our editorial judgement, and we present them as such.

How articles are written

Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools, from our verified database and cited sources. Jérémie Chiari reviews them after publication, several times a week, comparisons first.
