How much does Zapier cost in 2026?

Three public plans, plus a quote. Here is the grid as it is published, in US dollars (no euro prices appear on the pricing page):

Plan Billed monthly Billed yearly (per month) Tasks per month What you get
Free Free Free 100 Two-step Zaps, 1 seat, 15-minute polling
Professional $29.99 $19.99 750 (tiers up to 20,000) Multi-step Zaps, unlimited premium apps, webhooks, AI features, email support
Team $103.50 $69 2,000 (tiers up to 20,000) 25 users, shared Zaps, SAML SSO, priority support
Enterprise Custom quote Custom quote Annual task limits Unlimited users, SCIM provisioning, advanced admin controls, technical account manager

The gap between monthly and annual billing shows up on both self-serve plans: $29.99 against $19.99 on Professional, $103.50 against $69 on Team. If you are not sure you will keep the tool, the monthly option stays on the table, which is not true everywhere in this category.

How does Zapier count tasks?

Your quota is expressed in tasks per month, not in Zaps or in trigger checks. That counter is what sets your plan and your tier: 100 tasks on the free plan, 750 at the entry point of Professional, 2,000 at the entry point of Team, then tiers that climb to 20,000 tasks a month on both paid plans.

Two honest caveats. First, the exact rule that turns one Zap run into a given number of billed tasks is not in our verified records, so we do not state it. Second, the price of each intermediate tier, between 750 and 20,000 tasks, is not verified on our side; only the entry prices of each plan are.

In our reading, that is exactly where the budget gets decided. The headline $19.99 a month billed yearly buys 750 tasks, a modest volume once a Zap fires on every new form submission, every new spreadsheet row, or every inbound email. That is the reason for our 2.5 out of 5 on the price criterion: the entry ticket is low, and the cost climbs quickly with volume.

What can you actually do on the free plan?

You can test, not run production. The 100 tasks a month are permanent, with no trial clock to renew, but three limits frame what you can build: Zaps are capped at two steps (one trigger, one action), triggers are only checked every 15 minutes, and the account is limited to 1 seat.

The two-step cap is the tightest one. As soon as your scenario needs a filter, a formatting step, or a second destination, you are outside the free plan. We score this free tier 3 out of 5: it exists, it is permanent, but it works as an extended trial rather than a foundation. If your goal is to keep a handful of automations running long term without paying, the free plan on Make and the self-hosted edition of n8n draw their limits in different places.

What does Team add over Professional?

Users and governance, more than automation power. Professional, at $19.99 a month billed yearly, already unlocks most of the engine: multi-step Zaps, unlimited premium apps, webhooks, AI features, and email support.

Team, at $69 a month billed yearly, adds 25 users, shared Zaps, SAML SSO, and priority support, with 2,000 tasks a month at the entry tier. So the decision is organizational, not technical: one person building their own Zaps stays on Professional, while a team where several people need to see, take over, and fix the same automations needs shared Zaps. SAML SSO also carries weight in companies that require centralized sign-in.

Above that, Enterprise moves to a quote, with unlimited users, SCIM provisioning, advanced admin controls, a technical account manager, and task limits expressed per year rather than per month.

Where does Zapier host your data?

In the United States. The official documentation states that data is hosted on AWS servers located in the United States, and no EU storage option is mentioned. Transfers from Europe rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

On the compliance side, Zapier lists a SOC 2 Type II report covering June 2025 to May 2026, a SOC 3 report, an available DPA, and states compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. ISO 27001 is not listed on its Trust Center, so we do not credit it.

This is the weak spot in the file, and it explains our 2 out of 5 on that criterion. For a company handling sensitive customer records under a contractual European residency requirement, this single parameter can rule the tool out, whatever the product quality.

Zapier, Make, or n8n: how do the entry prices compare?

On entry price alone, Zapier is not the cheapest of the three tools we have verified in this category.

Tool Paid entry price (billed yearly) Free plan Hosting
Zapier Professional at $19.99 a month 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps AWS in the US, no EU option advertised
Make Core at $9 a month 1,000 credits a month, 2 active scenarios EU server zones (eu1, eu2) or US
n8n Starter at 20 EUR a month (24 EUR billed monthly) Free self-hosted Community Edition Cloud in Frankfurt, or your own servers

The units are not interchangeable (tasks on Zapier, credits on Make, executions on n8n: 2,500 a month on Starter, billed per complete workflow run), so this table compares entry tickets and hosting locations, not equivalent capacity. Note that n8n publishes its prices in euros, not dollars. For a feature-by-feature look at the three engines, see our Zapier vs Make vs n8n comparison.

Who is Zapier the right fit for?

Non-technical teams that need to connect their business apps quickly and can accept US data hosting. It is the only one of the three tools we score 5 out of 5 for ease of use, with 4.5 out of 5 on features thanks to a very large integration catalog. Overall score: 3.5 out of 5.

Three profiles, three answers:

  • Freelancer or small team, low volumes, a varied app stack: Professional at $19.99 a month billed yearly, while watching the task counter from month one.
  • Several people who need to share and maintain the same automations: Team at $69 a month billed yearly, for shared Zaps and SAML SSO.
  • An organization under a European data residency requirement: start with a tool that offers an EU zone, since Zapier advertises none. Our Zapier tool page breaks down the score criterion by criterion.

Volume stays the real trade-off. As long as your automations fit inside a few hundred tasks a month, Zapier is the fastest option to set up. Once the counter starts running, the question turns into tier math, and that is the point where competing grids deserve a second look.

Frequently asked questions

Is Zapier actually free?

Yes, Zapier has a permanent free plan. It is capped at 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps, trigger checks every 15 minutes, and 1 seat. Multi-step Zaps, webhooks, and unlimited premium apps require the Professional plan.

How much does Zapier cost per month?

Professional is listed at $29.99 a month billed monthly and $19.99 a month billed yearly. Team is listed at $103.50 a month billed monthly and $69 a month billed yearly. Enterprise is quote-based. Prices are published in US dollars, with no euro prices on the pricing page.

How many tasks do you get on each Zapier plan?

The free plan includes 100 tasks a month. Professional starts at 750 tasks a month and Team at 2,000 tasks a month, and both have tiers that climb to 20,000 tasks a month. Enterprise works with annual task limits instead of monthly ones.

Where does Zapier host your data?

Zapier hosts data on AWS servers in the United States. No EU storage option is mentioned. Transfers from Europe are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and a DPA is available.

Should you get Zapier Professional or Team?

Professional fits one person building their own Zaps, with multi-step Zaps, webhooks, and AI features. Team adds 25 users, shared Zaps, SAML SSO, and priority support, with 2,000 tasks a month included. Moving to Team makes sense mainly when several people have to maintain the same automations.
